The 17-year-old also clipped the bar in the second half and was a constant threat throughout for Mikel Arteta's side.

The goal was the third time Nwaneri has scored in the Carabao Cup this season after netting twice in the previous round against Bolton. Nwaneri's strike was sandwiched by Gabriel Jesus' opener followed by Kai Havertz's second-half header.
Nwaneri will be hoping his impressive display will see Arteta reward him with some minutes in Arsenal's trip to Newcastle this weekend. The youngster has played just 23 minutes in the Premier League but will have certainly convinced his manager that he is ready for a step up.
